# $10.000 Hot Cash Pouring Down

Rain money is not a dream anymore. About $10,000 (100 million Rupiah) hot cash pouring down on the city of Serang., some 60km west of Jakarta. Can you imagine? Amount of hot cash pouring down on your city and all of them are still hot and ready to use.

How come? When? Who did it?

Alright.., calm dawn, sure I will tell you. Happened on Sunday morning 1 June 2008. Start from an aircraft flying around Serang city. After while money are pouring down from it while it circled eight times over a soccer field in that city. All of this money was released in bills of 1000 and 5000 rupiah (11-53 cents).

Mr. Tung Desem Waringin (Pak Tung), Indonesian businessman and a public figure did all of this tremendous to promote his new book "Marketing Revolution". This action received much controversy.

'I want to create a rain of money in Jakarta,' author and motivational speaker Tung Desem Waringin said. 'It's a little bit crazy, but it's marketing.' Police spokesman Colonel I Ketut Untung said authorities may not allow the plan to go forward because it could draw huge crowds and cause chaos.

Tens of millions of Indonesians live on less than US$1 a day and food and aid giveaways always draw large numbers. Said Straitstimes.com
